Short and clear. You pay the driver for the ride, in cash and in full; Yipero charges you nothing on top.
Yipero is not a transport company and owns no vehicles. The drivers are independent: each one answers for his jeep, his paperwork and the way he drives. What Yipero does is take your trip to the people who work that area and let you choose.
Nobody else sets it, and you see it in full before choosing. It is the same amount you hand over on the day, in cash, directly to the man who takes you. Yipero never touches that money.
Yipero charges the traveller nothing: no commission, no surcharge, no service fee, no seasonal markup. The price you see is the price you hand over. It is the driver who pays Yipero — 2,000 pesos for each ride that gets booked, or 5% if the fare goes above 150,000 pesos — and that is never added to your price.
There is no charge to refund because there was no charge. What we do ask is that you tell the driver on WhatsApp: he held the day for you and can take other work if he hears in time.
Tell us from your trip screen or on WhatsApp. We send the very same request to the drivers in that area who still have room right then, so you can get up there anyway. There is nothing to refund: the ride is paid to the driver on the day he picks you up.
Do call him first, though: very often he is coming up a different track and is on his way. If he really did not turn up, it goes on his record; if it keeps happening, he stops receiving requests from that area.
Not before and not through a side door. Until you accept an offer nobody has anybody's number, which is why offers cannot carry digits written inside them: the system rejects those.
